Vaujany is situated on a sunny slope and the village also benefits from a new sports centre with swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fitness hall. There are 90km of marked trails for solo or guided walks to experience the wealth of mountain flora and fauna, plus tennis, archery, and fishing. The Alpette cable car operates in the summer during July and August to ease your ascent. Check times and prices at the tourist office.

A small train travels around the village and hamlets free of charge (in summer).

Leisure Centre - Take advantage of the view and activities at L'Espace Loisirs (Sports and Leisure Complex) a facilities complex that allows you to stay in shape and to recuperate vital skin tone. Facilities include - main pool, paddle pool, water slide, sauna, spa, jacuzzi, hammam, gym and health centre.

Archery – Professional instructors can teach you to be a real Robin Hood!

Tennis - Situated amongst the meadows just above the hamlet of La Villette and surrounded by breathtaking scenery there is a superb tennis club with six hard courts, playground, restaurant/bar and sun-terrace.

Hiking/Walking - You can wander through the surrounding meadows and woodland, take a walk to Enversin for lunch, hop on the cable car to visit the lakes or scramble up mountain paths for views of distant valleys. A waterfall or stream is never far and wild flowers are all around. 90km of well kept and posted trekking trails for individual hikers or those wishing professional mountain guides to discover mountains flora and fauna. Cycling/Mountain biking - Vaujany is only 15 minutes from Bourg d'Oisans the cycling capital of the area. Close proximity to the famous climb to Alpe d'Huez and nearby cols such as Galibier, Lautaret and Croix de Fer. There are some exciting mountain-bike routes including the descent from Pic Blanc (3,300m) to Allemont (750m) using the cable-car for the ascent!

The childrens clubs in Vaujany are very active with professionally accompanied activities for youngsters, clubs are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.

Adventure park - Half an hour away at Venosc there is an Adventure Park where the family can all have a go at the high flying obstacle course up in the trees. You are attached to cables by a harness. Great fun!

Relaxing - Don't forget to relax! Stunning views from your balcony, sunbathing terrace at the leisure centre, picnics, eating out and occasionally just reading a book with a glass of wine for company!
